We All Lead Campus Wellbeing Programming

We All Lead is a comprehensive wellbeing and leadership framework that builds upon existing First-Year Experience programming to tackle the interconnected challenges most impacting student success — mental health, belonging,  life purpose, and wellness — through a proven model now expanding to campuses nationwide.

Claremont Colleges since we ran the beta there. In fact, a photo of the Claremont Colleges and and blurb about the beta — – this program evolved out of a pilot at the Claremont Colleges then Beta program in Southern California.

WE ALL LEAD CAMP - 2 Day Outdoor Education/Student Development Offering

The We All Lead Camp is a two-day immersive leadership experience for high school students (9th–12th grade), held at Lopez Urban Farm in Pomona — where the land itself becomes part of the learning. Through hands-on farming, pottery, and yoga, students discover what it means to live in harmony with the natural world and with themselves. Drawing on the Community Resiliency Model (CRM)®, students learn how the brain processes stress, trauma, and anxiety — building a practical toolkit for nervous system regulation they can use for life. In facilitated dialogue circles, students engage in honest, judgment-free conversation about the issues that matter most to them, developing deep listening skills, peer-to-peer support, and a growing sense of their own voice and values. The camp guides students through a powerful shift — from “me” to “we” — helping them see that their individual wellbeing is inseparable from the wellbeing of their community and the earth. Students who complete both days earn a Certificate in Ecological Leadership, which includes Community Resilience Model (CRM) training for teens, and students who complete this program become eligible for the We All Lead Scholars Program — a pathway of ongoing mentoring, outdoor education, club-based after-school opportunities, with community-based service and nature restoration.

The WE ALL LEAD First Year Experience (FYE) reimagines how colleges and universities prepare students—not just for careers, but for lives filled with meaning, resilience, and connection. Grounded in the understanding that the first year of college is a critical period of identity formation—when communities are built and lifelong coping patterns are shaped—our FYE offerings integrate wellbeing, belonging, and climate-conscious leadership into student onboarding and orientation.

Consultant-Style Direct Delivery

Customized, on-campus facilitation by HVC faculty fellows who bring the WE ALL LEAD curriculum directly to your institution. This hands-on approach includes needs assessment, program design tailored to your campus culture, and expert-led workshops that integrate seamlessly with existing orientation programming. Campuses receive ongoing consultation to adapt and sustain the program beyond initial delivery.

RA/Staff Training (Leadership Development; Train the Trainer)

Equip your residential life staff, peer mentors, and student leaders with the skills to foster wellbeing across campus. This train-the-trainer model provides RAs and student affairs staff with mastery of all six CRM skills, facilitation techniques for Circles of Trust, and the pedagogical grounding to co-lead student dialogues. Graduates become wellbeing ambassadors who extend the program’s reach throughout the residence halls and campus community.

Curriculum and Gamified Community Engagement (½ Day to 8-Week Programs)

From introductory half-day workshops to comprehensive 8-week courses worth 1-2 academic units, our curriculum offerings scale to meet institutional needs. The half-day “Optimizing Human Potential” workshop introduces three core CRM skills, personal values exploration, and an overview of the SDGs and IDGs. The full 8-week “Optimizing Human Potential & Collective Wellbeing” course deepens the experience with all six CRM skills, co-facilitated student circles, nature-based learning, and impact reflections—culminating in an optional “Leadership Through Climate Action” extension track featuring service projects connected to local and state sustainability efforts.

Facilitated Retreats

Immersive off-campus experiences that accelerate community building and personal transformation. These retreats create intentional space for students to disconnect from daily stressors and reconnect—with themselves, each other, and the natural world. Through a carefully designed sequence of CRM practices, contemplative exercises, outdoor activities, and values-aligned dialogue, students return to campus with strengthened agency, deeper self-awareness, and authentic connections to their cohort.

Intensive Retreat Models

For campuses seeking maximum impact in condensed timeframes, our intensive retreat models deliver the full WE ALL LEAD experience in a residential format. These multi-day immersions combine all program elements—CRM training, Sentipensante pedagogy, nature-based rituals, systems thinking workshops, and action planning—into a transformative experience that catalyzes lasting change. Particularly effective for leadership cohorts, honors programs, or incoming student groups seeking to establish strong foundations from day one.

Board Room Wellbeing Workshop

Leadership Development, Attending to Risk Management, Campus Healing & Renewal

Executive-level programming designed for cabinet members, deans, and senior administrators navigating the complex landscape of campus wellbeing. This workshop addresses the unique pressures facing institutional leaders—from managing crisis response to cultivating organizational cultures that sustain both students and employees. Participants explore their own resilience practices while developing strategic frameworks for embedding wellbeing into institutional policies and priorities. Topics include trauma-informed leadership, the business case for collective wellbeing, risk mitigation through proactive mental health programming, and leading campus healing initiatives following community trauma. Leaders leave with both personal tools for managing their own stress and strategic roadmaps for championing wellbeing at the institutional level. This is also essential to risk management and thus, board fiduciary responsibility.
